At Florates we have developed a new propretairy diagnostic tool over the past 4 years for molecular screening of the animal microbiome. Gut health is widely recognized as an important factor in the daily health and welfare of animals. The sequencing data of the microbiome is growing exponentially, providing valuable insights, but it remains an extremely complex system. Our molecular assays offer the opportunity to unravel this complex system in daytoday operations. Florates aims to provide the diagnostic system to gain daily insight into shifts in the poultry microbiome. Non invasive sampling by farmer by providing functional insight into the microbiome, animal health and welfare can be further improved through management measures such as nutrition and feed additives.
